The ranking block works together with the moodle course completion. In the moodle course you configure the criterias to the end of the course. The ranking block monitors these activities and add points to the students based on accomplishing the activities.

The new GPS Course Format from Ka:Media allows course creators to append geolocation information to their course resources and activities to restrict access based on the student’s location. Imagine the ability to hide materials until a student was in proximity to a specific place! Scavenger hunts, virtual tours of cities, geocaching challenges…I can think of a couple of cool ways to use this GPS format. With a responsive or Mobile theme this could be a really awesome and amazing way to bring interactivity to your blended classroom.
