The new GPS Course Format from Ka:Media allows course creators to append geolocation information to their course resources and activities to restrict access based on the student’s location. Imagine the ability to hide materials until a student was in proximity to a specific place! Scavenger hunts, virtual tours of cities, geocaching challenges…I can think of a couple of cool ways to use this GPS format. With a responsive or Mobile theme this could be a really awesome and amazing way to bring interactivity to your blended classroom.

היום התנסתי לראשונה באופן מוצלח ביותר במערכת חדשה של צילום שיעורים אוטומטית אשר זמינה באחד מחדרי ההדרכה של מכון מופ"ת. (אם הייתי יודע שזה יזלוג לאינטרנט הייתי נועל את הקרוקס עם הפרחים. לא נורא, בפעם הבאה).
ניתוב התמונה נעשה ללא התערבות יד אדם (ע"י זיהוי תנועה). הקלטת הקול איכותית ומבוסס על מיקרופונים מיוחדים. לאחר הצילום עולה הסרט אוטומטית לשרת וידאו וממתין לתיוג.
ממש פינוק. למי ששוקל משהו דומה… דברו עם אילן בן שמעון (מנהל יחידת התקשורת של מכון מופ"ת) כדי להבין מה נדרש להקמת תשתית כזו במוסד שלכם.
אין ספק שזה משנה את ההרגלים אשר פתחתי לקבלת משוב חזותי מהנוכחים בכיתה אל מול קהל אשר אמור לצפות בשידור באופן מקוון. אני מניח שאוכל להתאים את עצמי בעזרת עצות נוספות (תודה לבועז מרמלשטיין על ההדרכה והעצות!).
נכנסתי לכיתה ופשוט התחלתי במצגת. וזה מה שיצא…

והרי ידיעה שהתקבלה זה (אתמול) – יאנק יונטף הוציא למאגר גוגל פונטס (מאגר גופנים חינמיים לשימוש באינטרנט) את אופן סאנס. לפי הכתוב, עיצב יונטף את אופן סאנס כהרחבה לאופן סאנס – גופן לטיני סאנס סריפי שעוצב ע״י סטיב מת׳יסון (שעיצב את אריאל).

We are currently integrating the Khan Academy code base to Moodle. We are planning several levels of integration. The first is allowing Single Sign On from a Moodle instance to the Khan Academy code base. Next is is creating reusable Moodle blocks that can be instantiated inside Moodle classes and allow fetching of different kinds of usable information from the different Khan Academy user and coach reports. Future development will be guided by the needs of our teachers. We are considering ideas such as allowing teachers to add their own videos and maybe exercises and to expand teacher/class centric student activity reporting, perhaps integrating into Moodle's Gradebook.
